Delete Account

⚠️ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

When you delete your account, all your personal data will be permanently removed from our system, including:

  • Account information and personal profile
  • Reading history and bookmarks
  • Notes and highlights in the Bible
  • Settings and personal preferences

You can delete your account immediately through our account deletion page. You will need to log in to authenticate before deletion.

  3. In the email body, please provide:
    • Account registration email
    • Full name (if applicable)
    • Reason for deletion (optional)
  4. We will process your request within 7 business days
  5. You will receive a confirmation email when your account has been completely taken down

In accordance with Article 3 and Article 9 of Law No. 91/2025/QH15, we only collect "Basic Personal Data" necessary to provide our services. The specific data points we collect are:

By providing your information, you consent to our processing of this data solely for the following purposes:

  • Verifying your identity and managing your user account
  • Personalizing your experience within the application

We utilize Google Firebase solely as a technical "Data Processor" (as defined in Article 2) to handle secure user authentication and login management. Firebase is authorized to process your email/login credentials strictly for maintaining the security and functionality of the app.

5. No Selling of Data

We strictly adhere to Article 7 of the Law, which prohibits the illegal trading of data. We pledge that we DO NOT buy, sell, or exchange your personal data with any other organization or individual.

6. Your Rights (User Control)

Under Article 4 and Article 14 of the Law on Protection of Personal Data, you retain full ownership of your data. You have the right to:

  • View and request corrections to your personal information
  • Withdraw your consent for data processing
  • Request Account Deletion: You may request the complete deletion of your account and all associated data from our servers at any time
